The fuel is sucked out of the fuel tank, pressurized and delivered to the fuel supply pipe, and works with the fuel pressure regulator to establish a certain fuel pressure.
Purpose:
The high-pressure fuel pump delivers high-pressure fuel to the fuel distribution pipe to ensure a continuous supply of fuel to the fuel injector. The high-pressure fuel pump works when starting and the engine is running. If the engine is stopped and the ignition switch is still ON, the HFM-SFI control module turns off the power to the high-pressure fuel pump to avoid accidental ignition.

The high-pressure fuel pump consists of an electric motor, a pressure limiter, and a check valve. The electric motor actually works in the fuel inside the oil pump housing. Don't worry, because there is nothing in the housing that can ignite. The fuel can lubricate and cool the fuel motor, and the oil can be discharged. A check valve is installed at the inlet, and a pressure limiter is located on the pressure side of the oil pump housing with a passage leading to the oil inlet.
