The intake air temperature sensor has a negative temperature coefficient thermistor, which generates different signal voltages according to the resistance change; when the temperature rises, the resistance value decreases, and when the temperature drops, the resistance value increases. When the car is cold, the signal of the intake air temperature sensor is basically the same as the signal of the engine water temperature sensor. When the car is hot, its signal voltage is about 2 to 3 times that of the water temperature sensor.
