Product Overview
The Lambda Sensor LR013660 (also referred to as Oxygen Sensor or O₂ Sensor) is an OE-grade emissions control component designed for select for Land Rover vehicles equipped with the 5.0L V8 petrol engine. This sensor is positioned downstream (post-catalyst) on the right-hand (passenger) side of the exhaust system.
Working in conjunction with the Engine Control Unit (ECU), this sensor continuously monitors the oxygen content in exhaust gases after they pass through the catalytic converter. The ECU uses this data to fine-tune the air-fuel mixture, ensuring optimal combustion efficiency, reduced emissions, and sustained engine performance.

Signs of a Failing Oxygen Sensor
| Symptom | Description |
|---|---|
| Check Engine Light | Illuminated MIL with O₂ sensor-related DTCs (P0130–P0139) |
| Reduced Fuel Economy | Decreased MPG due to improper air-fuel mixture |
| Failed Emissions Test | Elevated emissions from incorrect fuel trim |
| Poor Driveability | Rough idle, hesitation, or loss of power |
| Exhaust Odor | Strong fuel smell from unburned hydrocarbons |
Critical Installation Note – Verify Your VIN
Before purchasing, please confirm your vehicle‘s VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to ensure exact compatibility.
Oxygen sensors are precision engine management components. Variations in:
Engine type (5.0L V8 naturally aspirated vs. supercharged)
Model year and production date
Left-hand vs. right-hand drive configuration
Regional emissions specifications (California vs. Federal)
…can affect fitment. We strongly recommend verifying the OEM part number on your existing unit or consulting your vehicle’s VIN against our compatibility database.
Our team is ready to assist – provide your VIN and we will confirm the correct part for your vehicle.
