AMK is the OE manufacturer for this compressor, which was introduced as a replacement for the earlier Hitachi unit.

⚠️ Important: This is an AMK-type compressor. For pre-2009 vehicles (VIN 6A198058 to AA000001) replacing a Hitachi compressor, a software update is required for correct operation. For vehicles from VIN AA000001 onwards, no software adjustment is needed.
