Product Overview
The Air Conditioning Condenser LR018405 is an OE-grade cooling system component engineered for select for Land Rover vehicles-. This heat exchanger is a critical part of the vehicle's air conditioning system – it receives high-pressure refrigerant vapour from the compressor and transfers heat to the outside air, causing the refrigerant to condense back into a liquid state. The liquid refrigerant is then circulated through the evaporator to cool the cabin. LR018405 is superseded by LR015556.

Signs of Failure
Air conditioning not blowing cold air
A/C system takes a long time to cool the cabin
Unusual noises from the A/C system
Refrigerant leaks – visible oil residue around condenser area
Reduced cooling performance – system struggles to maintain temperature
💡 The condenser is located in the front of the vehicle, behind the grille. It is vulnerable to damage from road debris and stone chips – regular inspection is recommended.
Critical – Verify Your VIN Before Ordering
Condensers are VIN‑, engine‑, and model‑year‑specific. Variations in engine type (3.0L TDV6 vs. 3.6L TDV8 vs. 5.0L V8), production date, and VIN range affect fitment. Provide your VIN – our team confirms exact compatibility before dispatch. We cannot accept returns for misordered parts without VIN verification.
💡 Installation Tip: Professional installation recommended – the system must be evacuated, recharged, and leak-tested after replacement. Replace the receiver/drier simultaneously for optimal system performance.
